  • School Admissions

Radyr Primary School admits most of its pupils from the local catchment area, as defined by Cardiff Council.

Cardiff Council policy for admission requires that priority be given to children of families permanently resident in the catchment area. Children out of the catchment area seeking an admission place will be allocated a place in accordance with Cardiff Council Admissions Policy.

Most classes have 30 pupils and within the Foundation Phase there is a higher ratio of adults to pupils.  Whilst children are taught as a class they are often taught in smaller groups.
